A white photo background should not erase natural foreground details. BackgroundBlur uses an alpha matte to preserve the estimated subject while replacing only the background layer.
For product and marketplace imagery, Universal AI is usually the better starting point. If the edge looks too crisp against pure white, increase Edge softness slightly; small values usually look more natural than aggressive feathering.
